Koko Revolutionizing the Music Scene

Published on July 25, 2022

Koko, an iconic 122-year-old music venue in London, had a grand reopening late last month, after three years of closure and seven years of meticulous redesigning and reimagining. It is sure to place a new benchmark in live music events and establish a connection between an artist and the audience.

The new venue features the main stage, where most events take place, fly tower performance space, penthouse recording studios, bar, cafe, members club & restaurants, cocktail bar, and smaller apartments for more intimate shows. Future plans include a radio and podcast station and multiple live streaming points.

The venue jumps headfirst into both live performances and connection with fans, as well as implementing remote access, topical in our post-pandemic, reality-blurring times. Virtual interactions, live streaming (notably Apple’s Music Live free concert streaming service, which debuted with Harry Styles this month), crypto curiosity, and other on-demand content.
