A beautiful natural phenomenon can be witnessed this spring in Newfoundland, where icebergs have already started melting. For ages, more than two hundred icebergs towering over the island have been a symbol of Newfoundland. They start slowly melting when the weather is changing, and visitors to the city who come for a long period can witness how the icebergs are slowly getting smaller.
For the reason that icebergs move, a different number of them can be witnessed every year. Thus, in 1996 and 2006, no icebergs were witnessed at all. In 2019, in contrast, more than one thousand and a half have crossed the latitude. At the end of the season, when the weather is changing radically, most icebergs can be spotted.
