Japan Is Going To Weaken The Restrictions On Tourists

Published on July 19, 2022

Due to the pandemic, Japan is imposing restrictions on international visitors: they are forbidden to enter the country. The ban is still in effect today: all non-residents of Japan are barred from entering the country. The Japanese government has announced that they are considering re-opening borders for international visitors. Some other Asian destinations have opened, and Japan is waiting to join the list. For now, virtual tours are available. One upcoming event is taking place on April 13th; a cherry blossom event will be translated live for all people who have an internet connection for free.
