Iceland authorities are now trying to find a way to attract new tourists to the country after the pandemic. 

For Iceland, tourism is crucial to have their tourism industry going. Almost 40 percent of their economy comes from the tourism sector. That means that something needs to be done for the sake of economic stability. 

They pitched the situation at the annual meeting of the Tourism Association. An innovative booking system, that has already proved its efficiency, was particularly discussed.
