GoGreen Summit

Published on July 24, 2022

The GoGreen Summit is an annual conference held in Bali (Indonesia), taking place on June 1st–3rd. It is organized by the International Society of Environmental Relationship and Sustainability or ISERS. The prior focus of the GoGreen Summit is to find solutions to environmental problems.

The global aims of the summit

GoGreen is not just a conference—it is a whole platform, bringing together climate activists and everyone involved in this industry. At the conference, they discuss the latest innovations and ways to sort out current challenges. Leo Tolstoy, one of the greatest writers of all time, once said:One of the first conditions of happiness is that the link between man and nature shall not be broken.

He truly believed that people and nature are connected on some spiritual level. What happens if this link breaks at some point? Usually, a catastrophe. This year, the GoGreen Summit goes under the following enigma: Go Green: Shape the Future Green Planet.

What does it mean? Likely, saving the planet from the current crisis is not the only goal of the committee. The conference should also help find ways to not repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Participants and organizers of the summit

The conference is not open to everybody. Those who want to visit must fit into one of the following categories: Scientists; Business professionals, Environmental Activists, and Social workers; Governmental organizations; and, in the end, students and professors of agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting facilities.

The GoGreen Summit has plenty of opportunities for the representatives of the mentioned branches. It gives visitors a chance to meet international speakers, exchange and provide new ideas, and also share knowledge in any of the listed fields. Making connections at this festival is one of the main reasons to attend. Representatives of different universities will make their speeches. The summit is organized by a committee consisting of lecturers and professors from the universities of different countries (e.g. India, Malaysia, Philippines).

Program of GoGreen

The festival is divided into several sections, the most important of which are the technical sessions. There are 11 tracks, each consisting of subsections and seminars. Tracks in every section are united by the same topic. Some of them are the following:

Environmental Pollution and Emerging Solution

People in this field do not only study pollution and its kinds but also look at ways to reduce the level of pollution.

Ecology and Earth Science

It looks at such aspects as ecosystems, types of ecology, natural hazards, et cetera.

Renewable Energy

This section collects opinions on how to use energy and biofuels with the highest efficiency.

The other tracks are connected with engineering, chemistry, social sciences, engineering, biology, and ecology.

The most outstanding personalities who have contributed to saving the planet or creating a healthy environment will be honored in a list of categories. Among others, it includes such nominations as best oral presentation and best student presentation.

At the moment, the recruitment of media, sponsors, and exhibitors is in process.

‍Spend some time in the natural environment of Indonesia

Sometimes, discussing the problem is not enough to solve it. Right after listening to lectures about natural beauty, you can see it with your own eyes. Indonesia is a beautiful country, and it has plenty of natural resources and treasures that are beautiful and deserve to be valued.

Ubud, which is the cultural center of Bali, is one of the places that can change your whole attitude towards nature. You will love the nature of Sacred Monkey Forest and Tegenungan Waterfall, and see how coffee, wood, and batik are made here. All of this is possible in this natural environment. After all, Bali is a part of the Unesco World Heritage. Book your place on our tour to see such sights as Lake Bratan and Ulun Danu and learn more about the local culture.

Plan your trip to Indonesia to see the local natural treasures. Saving nature is possible even if you don’t participate in the summit, as long as you share its main principles.
