The famous Clear Lake in Oregon, which has existed for more than 3,000 years, has finally revealed its main secret to the visitors. It turns out that there is a sunken forest under the waters of the lake. It has happened as a result of a volcanic eruption.
To explore the hidden treasures of the lake, visitors are suggested to try diving or rent kayaks, if one wants to avoid cold water. One breathtaking spot on the Clear Lake is a lava slit. It represents a thick and white crack, filled with lava. Another worthwhile location nearby that is to be explored is the McKenzie River National Recreation Trail. This is a good hike to do: the way is abandoned by the beautiful view of waterfalls, mountains, and rivers of lava.
